Cartoon Network is expanding its award-winning, "Stop Bullying: Speak Up" campaign by partnering with 826 National to launch the Inclusion Storytelling Project, which encourages youth across the country to share their individual stories about kindness and empathy in an effort to stop bullying before it starts.

As bullying continues to be a significant social issue impacting kids, Cartoon Network, a division of Turner, is partnering with Chuck E. Cheese's to support the annual award-winning initiative: Stop Bullying: Speak Up. Now in its seventh year, the multi-platform, pro-social campaign was created by Cartoon Network with experts in the field to raise awareness, build partnerships and empower young people to speak up against bullying safely and effectively. Kicking off today, the partnership runs throughout the month of October, coinciding with National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month.

Cartoon Network Exceeds Goal of Recruiting One Million People

Cartoon Network, through its award-winning Stop Bullying: Speak Up campaign, issued a national call-to-action to recruit one million people to speak up against bullying as a kick-off to National Bullying Prevention Month. As of this week, the network is proud to report that more than 1.1 Million kids, parents, educators and others to date accepted the challenge and "spoke up" against bullying.

Recognizing bullying as a health, educational and legal issue that affects millions of kids and families each year, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and Secretary of Education Arne Duncan have joined Cartoon Network's recently announced "I Speak Up" call-to-action asking one million people to upload and share "I Speak Up" mobile videos to help fight bullying.

As bullying continues to affect millions of kids nationwide, Cartoon Network is kicking off its annual Stop Bullying: Speak Up campaign with a video call-to-action encouraging people to speak up on behalf of kids who need help. With a goal of attaining the combined voice of one million user-generated videos, the network is giving people the opportunity to say to the world, "I Speak Up."
